Athletics
The Poplar Grove Athletics Program encourages students to grow through both winning and defeat. Our coaching staff maintains positive interactions with our athletes while teaching lifelong skills including discipline and teamwork.
Poplar Grove competes in the Harpeth Valley Athletic Conference (HVAC) for most sports. Middle School teams are fielded in 13 sports at Poplar Grove.
ELIGIBILITY
Any 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th grade boy or girl is eligible to play on school teams if he/she keeps a passing grade in every subject and does not have behavior concerns. The student must also have a current physical on file with the Athletic Director (5th-8th grade) and Final Forms completed (6th-8th grade) before any athletic participation. 5th grade athletes need to complete all forms listed under 5th GRADE ATHLETES to the right and get them to the Athletic Director.
